About Us

As parents of young children with backyard pools, we spent many years researching the market for a pool alarm that actually works. After disappointing results, we came up with the idea of a smart alarm camera system customized for the pool environment. We were motivated by the tragic amount of drownings that occur each year worldwide. The SwamCam system was created to help detect kids entering a
 pool area unattended with the goal of saving many lives.

SwamCam is proudly comprised of diverse talent with experience in various fields. Our technology team consists of Tier 1 developers that have many years of experience at tech giants such as Motorola and Haier.

Our Goal

  • Prevent drowning by decreasing response time when a child enters a pool area unexpectedly.
  • Provide an added layer of protection for residential pools, spas, and other locations.
  • Enable homeowners to remotely monitor pool area via live camera feed.

At SwamCam, our mission is to protect children from drowning through proactive education and cutting-edge technology.We aim to reduce response times to unexpected pool entries by utilizing our advanced AI-powered camera systems. As an affiliate of the SwimSafe Foundation, SwamCam, LLC supports the nonprofit’s efforts to promote water safety and prevent drowning.

Drowning Statistics

350 children under the age of five drown in pools each year nationwide. [CPSC]
